HP confident of its Choose Packaging acquisition success

Paper bottle specilist Choose Packaging works with numerous global companies including Accolade Wines, Henkel, Malibu and more.

With the integration of Choose into its personalisation and 3D Printing business, HP said it will focus on scaling its technology and customer footprint to expand the addressable market.

It added that it is replacing packaging that featured foam to moulded fibre. The moulded fibre division revenue growth is doubling every quarter, and HP is working with over 50 customers, including 20 repeat customers.

Mariona Company, head of moulded fibre advanced tooling solution, HP, said: “We chose Choose Packaging because it has IT and technology non-toxic plastic-free water proof.”

HP said it is well positioned to disrupt the $10bn fibre-based packaging market. HP’s first step in transforming this industry was the introduction of its 3D printing-enabled moulded Fibre Tooling Solution designed to bring customisable, fibre-based products to market faster and more affordable.
